Terms of Service

1. Scope and Service Description

These Terms of Service govern the use of the SaaS platform "Connota", provided by Albika Khasbulatov, Bim Hasel 22, 3052 Zollikofen, Switzerland. The service enables automated ingestion of website content and the deployment of AI-powered conversational widgets.

2. System Availability and SLA

Connota endeavors to maintain a system availability score of 99.5% on a monthly average basis. Planned maintenance windows, announced at least 24 hours in advance, are excluded from this calculation.

3. Data Ownership & Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to any source documents, links, or context uploaded to the platform. You grant Connota the limited right to process these files solely to execute the chatbot services. We do not use customer data to train foundation models.

4. Payment Terms & Renewals

Subscription fees are charged in advance for the billing period selected at checkout — either monthly or annual. Payment is by credit card or Twint. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time in the Console; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period (month or year). Access remains active until then, after which the account is reset to the inactive tier.

5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by Swiss law. The sole place of jurisdiction for any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms is Bern, Switzerland.
